Training Programs: Building Climate Resilience through Knowledge and Action

Offered by AGES, our formal training programs focus on ecological restoration, sustainability, and climate resilience. Delivered in a hybrid format, these programs combine online modules with in-person sessions, and all evaluations are conducted online.

Core Topics

Land restoration and biodiversity enhancement, Nature-based conservation models, The Miyawaki Method and rapid afforestation techniques, Sustainable development and eco-friendly daily solutions.

Program Options

  • Two-Day Introductory Program (12 Hours)
    An introductory course offering essential knowledge on land restoration, agroforestry, biodiversity, conservation, and sustainable lifestyle practices.

  • Three-Day Intermediate Program (24 Hours)
    Expands on the two-day module with additional focus on policy design, implementation strategies, and models of environmental governance.

  • Six-Day Program (48 Hours)
    Includes a minimum of three residential days and offers a deep dive into ecological restoration and climate action. This intensive course is tailored for aspiring environmental leaders and decision-makers.


The three- and six-day programs further offer hands-on learning through forest treks, eco-camping, and field experiments.

Certification

For programs jointly offered by AGES and the G20 Global Land Initiative under the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD), a mandatory module on the G20 Land Initiative is included. These participants will receive a joint certificate issued by AGES and the UNCCD-G20 initiative. All other programs carry AGES certification.
